too bad da Utes didn't drop down to Vegas Bowl like we did in the glory days of Bowl games all the time would be interesting to see 3M & the quitter after game handshake & 3M saying I told ya The second was in 2009. The Las Vegas Bowl had the fourth selection, and Oregon State finished third. Oregon went to the Rose Bowl. The Holiday announced that it would invite the Arizona-USC winner, which it did. The Sun Bowl has a no-repeat clause in its contract with the Pac-10/12, which it exercised to invite Stanford over Oregon State. (Oregon State beat Pittsburgh in 2008.) The Las Vegas Bowl selected Oregon State. So "all [of] the time" means once? than do that, the Emerald and Las Vegas Bowls exercised their option in their contract at the time to trade teams. The Las Vegas Bowl got UCLA, which is about a five-hour drive, and the Emerald Bowl got Oregon State. Thanks for the history lesson. "all of the time" refers to 11 bowls in 13 years. Now we enter the 40 year drought times. I am probably wrong (and you will surely correct me) but it seemed to me we dropped 2 slots down to Vegas in 07. Like we tied for 2nd and got 5th place bowl
