If he's healthy and eligible, that's a good get.

A center with 25 starts for the P12 leader in rushing yards per game would be a great addition.

If he's healthy and eligible, that's a good get. The O-line coach Smith brought is arguably the best hire Smith made and the key to getting the program turned around.

Not to take this too far off topic but we have great O line coaches during the Erickson tenure and the early stages of Riley's second stint. Maybe Riley's first stint too but I don't remember who it was and I'm too lazy to look it up. Point being, during our most successful seasons we have had excellent O line coaching. I like the trend

Michalczik and Gregg Smith were the OL coaches for the three years that Smitty played for Erickson. Dan Cozzetto was the OL coach in 2002. Gilstrap was the first OL coach, during Riley II, in 2003 and 2004. Mike Cavanaugh replaced Gilstrap in 2005.

Thanks for the assist.... those are all above average to great O line coaches in my opinion... I guess that is the correlation I was trying to make.
The O line is so critical, from recruiting the best athletes to coaching them up and getting them to play as a unit. I'm excited to see what I believe to be better talent being recruited and kids choosing to be here. Keep it rolling coaches!
