Hope Cooks can make NE regret not keeping him around! however, Brady is so much better than Goff it will be difficult.

Looks to me like Cooks is the Rams best hope. To be honest Cooks is exactly what Brady needs now. Cooks on NE roster and you could turn out light before the SB starts. I think there is a real gift out there at only 2.5. LOL

On March 10, 2017, the New Orleans Saints traded away Brandin Cooks for a first (pick 32) and third (pick 103) round pick. They chose Ryan Ramczyk, their starting right tackle, and Trey Hendrickson, a second-string defensive end.
On April 3, 2018, the New England Patriots traded away Cooks for a first (pick 23) and sixth (pick 198) round pick. The Patriots chose tackle, Isaiah Wynn, with the first pick. Wynn tore his Achilles in the second preseason game and spent the season on IR. The Patriots traded the sixth round pick for two seventh round picks, pick 233 and 243. The Patriots chose Keion Crossen with pick 243. Crossen is a third-string cornerback. Crossen played in six regular season games, including the final two, and the two playoff games, logging 17 tackles. The Patriots traded pick 233 for pick 250 and a seventh round pick in 2019. The Patriots drafted Ryan Izzo with pick 250. Izzo made the Patriots' 53-man-roster. However, he then apparently suffered a "high-ankle sprain," while not playing football, and was placed on IR. Just before Izzo suffered his "high-ankle sprain," the Patriots signed two receivers: Amara Darboh and Chad Hansen. Darboh was subsequently cut for failing his waiver physical, which put him on the Seahawks' IR. The Patriots attempted to put Hansen on their practice squad, but he was poached by the Titans. The Broncos subsequently poached him from the Titans and signed him to a reserve/future contract. For purposes of this season, the Patriots traded Cooks for Crossen.
The general consensus on why the Patriots traded away Cooks is because, with the way free agency was playing out, Cooks had a lot of leverage, and they were worried that he would hold out or leverage the situation for a better contract.
Cooks got revenge on the Saints with a 26-23 overtime win, gaining most of the yardage on both Rams' touchdown drives, converting a key third-and-two in the process, and seven yards on the last field goal drive in regulation. Cooks led all receivers on both teams in yards.
Cooks now has the opportunity to get revenge upon the Patriots.

So like OS baseball in '17 & '18 Brandin is on a revenge tour '17 after getting snubbed by the Committee snub in '16. Losing in the CWS '18 after losing in '17 and losing the chance to be the "greatest team ever" ...winning OS 3rd CWS championship
