I believe Addison thumbs has a good chance but it might be more likely next year. Luke Musgrave has the tools but not likely this year and Idk if this offense will give him enough targets. Jordan Whitley is intriguing to me I think he could have a decent shot if he can stay on the field. I know that he depends on the QB and OL, but I’m surprised nobody mentioned Isaiah Hodgins. He’s big, quick and very skilled. When he had a real passer pitching it, he had 2 or 3 games with double digit receptions and made some sweet catches. He’s on the Biletnikoff watchlist. Get consistency and health at QB, and this kid could have a massive year!

Lavaka is a stud. There probably isn't an AA on the roster, just because it's rare.

if Elu Aydon gets any all american awards for his play this year, even honorabe mention, i will eat OA's shorts. Unsoiled please. they don't even give participation awards for being a speedbump. I sometimes listen to the Dam Podcast and they mentioned a week or two ago that Elu Aydon had slimmed down quite a bit and was looking more athletic. I don't know what that will translate into come game time but maybe he'll be more than just a speedbump this year. Yeah its tough to know if he will have the endurance to play 4 quarters. Some dudes can carry the weight and have great motors, I mean he could slim down and still struggle, but when fresh I could see how much of an impact he had, problem was the Defense could never get off the field and then on play 9,10,12,...14 of a drive he was toast.

I'll play. But lets limit the discussion to 2019, I think the only one that could win it this year would but Jermar, but if I had to pick another I'd go with Elu Aydon. When he is on the field and not totally gassed, he is a force. Problem has been really his overall fitness and injury. I think with some better guys around him on the line he has a chance to really stand out. A lot of "ifs" though. if Elu Aydon gets any all american awards for his play this year, even honorabe mention, i will eat OA's shorts. Unsoiled please. they don't even give participation awards for being a speedbump. I don't disagree, and I wouldn't make the bet with my money, but if I had to pick someone, that has the potential, I saw it in flashes last season, so we will see. Personally if I had to make a bet (with my money) of the OSU roster (to make at least 2nd Team AA) or nobody, I'd probably take nobody . The guys that in the past have made AA at OSU were guys that the previous year we fans were all flabbergasted they didn't get recognized, it takes while for the national media to notice anything happening in Corvallis, double now that the Beavers are a dumpster fire.

The offense, even 2018 was fairly scintillating in stretches and not what LSBF would call a dumpster fire. Most of that O is back and maybe even better. I've been saying this too much but the jump from horribly putrid to just slightly smelly is sometimes only a change in the wind direction. meaning, the D only needs to be bad this year, that kind of step up is going to make a lot of things better. More possessions for the offense, more time of possession for the offense, usually translating to more points and more competitiveness. The product on the field is going to look better and hopefully taste better.

IF we have consistency on offense—at QB especially—so that a relationship can develop, watch out. Unfortunately, I expect Luton to get the nod again this year and maybe last three games before he is out with injury. I truly hope I’m wrong, but if I were the opposing defense, I would put everything into shaking him up some.

I think McMaryion may be the only one. I really don't think Luton is as fragile as some posters here make him out to be. It's been open season on QBs at OSU since GA arrived. I'm hoping that with a year in the system under their belts the O-Line will be showing improvement despite a couple of graduations.

Not sure we should really be piling on Luton. 2 cheap shot hits that both should have been penalties. Seems more like bad luck to me. Make no mistake, dude can chuck it.

I think I’m alone in this “pile.” Which probably means I’m wrong. Which I definitely hope. I want the kid to have a stellar season. He deserves it after all that he’s put up with.

I'd guess Hodgins before Jefferson. I think Hodgins is one of the best receivers in the conference. Not that Jefferson isn't one of the best RBs, but Pierce is going to get his share of carries.
I keep telling myself to temper expectations but man, I cant help thinking OSU is gonna surprise this year if they can keep Luton upright

In 5 years nobody will remember the Offense looked pretty good at times, they remember W-L total - if that, mostly they will try to forget if they are Beavers. Just like nobody remembers that OSU was REAL shaky to start the 2000 season. They remember the win total and the bowl game.

I'd like to think that Jonathan Smith is within a year or two, capable of becoming National COY (at least Pac 12 COY). Does that count?
