Of course. Why even ask?

Curious how people are taking in a 1pm game that will have decent weather on a channel that not everyone has access to. Personally, I'm going to miss this one because of the kickoff time. Were it a 4:30 or 7:00 start, I'd be able to make it. What channel is the game on? Looks like it is on Pac 12 network or is that not correct?

Time makes no difference to me...either you believe in Jonathan Smith and want to support him or you don't. It's only five times a year people have to be inconvenienced by a 6 p.m. or later start. These kids working their butts off to help osu win deserve our support. No excuses! Being in the eastern time zone, I like the 1:15 start. Will make it much easier to catch most if not all of the game.

Of course, have only missed two home games in the last 20+ years.

No, which is why the post above the one you quoted was asking what channel game is on. One of these days I'll get back out that way to visit wine country and will make certain to plan the trip around a football or basketball game.

My older son has a conflict with this game, so I'm bringing my younger son and 2 of his buddies instead. I'm personally hoping for 4:00 or 7:00 starts for Sanford and Utah.

Nope. Grandkids (plural) soccer. I will add a little sumpin sumpin, though. Yes, most of the kids and coaches work their butts off, BUT.... there are folks connected to the university AND athletic department who DON’T, and their lack of effort, vision, and passion stains the program, and has for some time. Gave up our season tickets in ‘14. Lost patience, optimism AND expectations with regards to the program. I HOPE JS can turn it around, but he’ll need help. A lot of help, and a culture change. “No excuses,” my ass.

And if you have DirecTV or Charter or YouTubeTV, etc. you’re out of luck.

If you have Comcast and only get the national channel on 720, you can log in to the Pac-12 website and stream the Oregon channel. Assume it is similar for other providers with just the national channel.

You being in the Eastern timezone AND asking what channel the game was on were pretty good clues that you wouldn't be there. But, hey, if you change your mind, you still have about 24 hours to get to the game!

I currently feel like the only way I can help is to donate and buy and attend and support, but maybe in the future I'll decide there is some other way to help or that the team/University does not deserve my support any longer. If that day comes, I'll have my reasons and they'll be personal and hopefully nobody judges me.
So, I'm not judging you when I ask... Are you done forever? I mean, would it take some person(s) associated with the university and athletic department leaving in order for you to consider going to games again? And would that be regardless of the success on the field? If JS and the other coaches and players do somehow manage to get back to winning seasons, would you still stay away because of the person(s) you have a problem with? Or, on the flip side, if the person(s) leaves, would you be back to supporting the team in person even if they aren't (yet) winning more games?

Thanks, Mike, for your good questions and unwavering support for OSU. Life is busy for all of us, I know. The older I get (only 61), it seems like I have LESS time for things other than work and family. Others may be different, and are able to devout their time, money, and passion to multiple things. Maybe I will too, someday. Go Beavs.

I get it if you have kids or grandkids participating in other activities...been there...done that. I'm speaking to the folks who don't like the late games because of getting home past midnight. We can all find reasons not to go..l just think we don't want excuses out of the kids or coaches, why should we make them.

Strangely, even though in heart of Big Ten country, I have brtter access to PAC 12 games then B1G games, which is a pain because I follow Illinois too.
