We're going to lose all this history in a thread about a portal transfer dude the Oakland Raiders, although it has been fun.

Lowe was a Charger season ticket holder back in 2007. Unlike most of the Chargers, Lowe got his Super Bowl ring on the Chiefs roster in Super Bowl IV, the last pre-merger Super Bowl. So the losers of a Super Bowl get a Super Bowl ring? Cuz the Chargers have never won a Super Bowl but they did lose to the 49ers in SB-29. Paul Lowe got his ring as a member of the 1969 Chiefs, who defeated Minnesota in Super Bowl IV in New Orleans. Super Bowl losers don't get a ring, IIRC, unless they receive one from their team for being NFC or AFC champions.

There is a theory that if Portland voters had approved the funding for the "Delta Dome" in 1964, the Raiders would have moved there from Oakland.

Can you imagine the grief A.Davis would have caused Portland and Oregon by having his franchise sometimes in Oregon and at other times in other cities?

Eagles' NFC Championship rings from last year.I believe that the AFC and NFC Champions always get rings. That was a key plot point in that first Ace Ventura movie.

Same here. He and his mother were honored at halftime during a football game when Wade was a freshman or sophomore.
