This is more like a potential depth chart than projected. I may have some guys out of position (O Line, D Line, DB's, etc) and most of these positions are wide open. It's also possible that I'm missing some guys. I wanted to compile a depth chart to get a better picture of what kind of talent the coaching staff will have to work with next year. Thoughts? Poor Ben G. He comes back just to be relegated to 3rd string again.

Poor Ben G. He comes back just to be relegated to 3rd string again. With all due respect to Ben, the offense is probably going to need a more dynamic player than a solid game manager. The OL is going to be very green.

The OL is going to be very green. Agreed. IMO the OL and DL look like the shakiest positions (I’m probably overly optimistic about the WR’s). Hopefully a 3rd of the guys listed in each group can become solid/great.

Not sure who walker the kicker is. What happened to Everett Hayes? I believe connington is still committed to us although he hasn't signed yet.

This all very fluid, obviously. Beavers just got a commitment from LSU DT Tygee Hill. That could help.

I thought Hayes was a senior. Hope I’m wrong. Connington hasn’t signed so I wasn’t sure. The only unsigned commit that I added was Durant because of social media posts he’s made that led me to believe he’s a solid commitment. I hope Connington is the K if I’m correct about Hayes.

Mad props for doing an actual depth chart. So many people put out a "depth chart" but its only a two deep. I believe it was Erickson that put out a full depth chart and you could see who the 6th and 7th string RBs were.

I just used the roster on OSUBeavers.com and sorted by position, then pulled up this year’s recruiting class. Just gave them my best guess. Some educated guesses. Some blind stabs. I guess my main comment would be that I hope they can upgrade at offensive tackle. My guess is that Lichtenhan was signed to compete for a starting spot on the right side or is at least a better fit there despite playing LT at Colorado. The interior should be fine and I really like the QB and RB groups. The WR group is inexperienced/new but the potential is pretty high. So really, IMO it boils down to the ability to rebuild the O-line. On defense, I'm really interested in seeing what Quincy Wright and Schuster will be able to bring to the table. Overall, I'm starting to think that the defensive front might have a good chance to be significantly better at least when it comes to better depth and less of a drop off. And if the LSU DT is indeed coming to OSU, that will be huge. Really excited about Chisom after the bowl. Safety could be under the radar good with Julian back and York coming in. Probably comes down to CB play. But overall, I think the defense might not miss a beat.

I like our RB depth adding Hankerson. Should be a good battle between him and Newell for 2nd string

Don't see Skyler Thomas on there Oops. Good catch. I saw him when I was looking at the roster and intended to put him somewhere. Any idea where he might be on the depth chart?
