With the draft being in the middle of the 4th round, I am surprised to see so many WRs projected ahead of Hodgins. He is currently 15th down the list on position rankings still available. How is it possible that Coulter of Rhode Island is projected ahead of him? It is looking like he should have stayed another year... if not for development, just to avoid this deep WR class.

Also worth noting... there are currently three (!) WRs from Ohio St projected ahead of him right now.

Bad advice from someone. Too bad.
As far as Brandel, I don’t even see him on the board. How do you grade out as the top pass blocker in the P-12 and not even get a look?

40 time sucked. Slow off the line. Not a good combo for the nfl. Hope his dream comes true.

I mused earlier that if he can't go by the 4th, it isn't worth it. the guaranteed money is gone. I think we can now maybe say it wasn't worth it for Hodgins. This WR class was too stacked, and with Hodgins having a disastrous 40 time... big oof. He is quickly entering camp body territory.

Two things--speed and quickness. These are not NCAA DBs he is going against. These are pros and they are not going to be out fought for the ball.

We're not playing anything close to a complete season this fall. So him leaving early will eventually have little to no impact on his career.

It does if next years draft class is lighter on WRs (which I haven’t taken the time to see what it looks like).

Could you post the Beavers new schedule? It is not out of the realm of possibilities. The issue isn't just if Oregon is ready, it is all those other states and cities. Bay area, LA are still really bad right now. But that said, I doubt the season is cancelled. I can see delayed, if we can't get practices going by July. Most teams out there lost spring drills. there is a lot of ground to make up. But call me optimistic, I think we are playing football in the fall.
