Tough to beat out the 'stache who hasn't worn out his welcome yet.

Tough to beat out the 'stache who hasn't worn out his welcome yet. Minshew was a sixth-rounder last year. I think that they will give him a shot. Jacksonville is a better spot than most, if Luton wants playing time next year.

Agreed, he has a way better shot sticking on a roster for his first contract and being no worse than the #2 here than a lot of other teams. This is a good spot for him. Jags are also trying to move towards more spread out looks and downfield passing, looking to shop Fournette and get more dynamic. I like it.

Anyone have anything new on Matt Moore There is some chatter that the Jets will sign Matt Moore. I don't think that the Jets drafting James Morgan changes that.

Minshew had a respectable year last year all things considered, had a better QBR than Rivers and Brady, only 6 pics in 14 games.

My prediction...in ten years we will say Luton had a better pro career than Herbert. Pro arm...height...toughness...decision making. All Jake needs is a chance...

Kind of like Joey 5Picks vs. DA. I think Luton has a legitimate shot to stick around the League for several years. Herbert seems cut from a different cloth than most other overrated Duck QB's, though. I don't blame him for the sports media constantly kissing his backside every time he completes a pass. I do think he'll be around for awhile.
