Not exactly, though we activists consider the H-word equivalent to the N-word. this is part of the problem. The 'N' word excluded most 'words' that are offensive are part of the problem. Calling someone blind, handicapped, deaf, or mentally retarded are now offensive. How can we talk about stuff if we can't even say certain words that define differences? Lighten up Francis! I personally am follicly challenged, bespectacled, weight challenged, and socially awkward... That means I am bald, wear glasses, am fat, and a nerd. I just use "crips."

Hydroxychloroquine has been rejected. The data isn't there to justify further study. The data AREN'T AREN'T ARE NOT ARE NOT ARE NOT! They (the data) AREN'T! (just don't do it again.) I was referring to the andriod.

How about people with underlying conditions stay away from the public areas and only see people they know and trust. Can the rest of us have a life? Please and thank you. spot on.

You're representative of 82% (wild ass guess) of your white ass age bracket. You can call yourself all those terms because you're describing you. When you refer to others by anything other than person or human THEN (did I get that right??) you risk being un-PC.

I could run your over with my car and qualify you. That H-word is a bad word. FYI, in the construction world, from design to plans to building, they are still called handicap ramps, handicap symbols, etc. I don’t know what part of the construction industry you work in but I am involved in major projects and the term is “accessible”. Haven’t used the term “handicapped” relative to ADA accommodations in over a decade. Nobody gets in any trouble for using the other term but it is recognized as an anachronism by contractors, vendors, architects, engineers, consultants and owners. Precision is important in our business.

Many would say vandalism and looting already invalidated the protests. But is that all it was, broken windows and stolen shoes? What a relief. For a minute I thought more innocent peoples lives were ruined.
Looting, vandalism and wanton mayhem isn't "protest."
Everything not nailed-down is being looted in many areas of the country, in many places (mostly in blue states .... go figure). It's not spontaneous in nature, either. It's well organized and planned-out.
Broken windows and stolen shoes would be some of the most minor items.
I get it. It was sarcasm. Sorry.

Looting, vandalism and wanton mayhem isn't "protest." Actually, it is.

I barely got into OSU and left after 2 years with no OSU degree so you've got me beat there. I collaborate with OSU College of Engineering grads every day. They are second to none. I wasn't meaning to be critical as much as just to add my personal experience within the construction industry since it is different on this subject. It's all good. Friendship is more important than PC.

I was referring to the andriod. Then it is a proper noun, requiring the uppercase "D." (I'll leave the other issue with your rebuttal to speak for itself.) ;-)

Looting, vandalism and wanton mayhem isn't "protest." Actually, it is. MLK said that [paraphrasing] rioting is the language of the unheard.

"Data" is a term I struggle with because my first and second degrees were without computers; we had "facts." The debate raged in the 90s [due in part to TNG]. I learned the wrong usage of the word. Sorry for my flippant response. I couldn't resist.

I get it. It was sarcasm. Sorry. I know it was. It was actually directed at "atown" and I quoted you both (on that subject). I’m slow today. Apologies.

Bulls%#t. It's criminal opportunism. I would like you to cite me one time, just one, single, solitary time in all of US history significant social change came through peaceful protest. Heck, moderate social change hasn't even come through peaceful protest. Do you know why? because when people peacefully protest they are ignored. Peaceful protest does not work, it has never worked and it never will. Change only happens when it becomes impossible to ignore. when you cannot quell the rebellion or you cannot afford not to. When the powers that be finally deem it financially prudent to change, that is when change happens.
