Hope someday we are overrated enough to win a Rose Bowl. I guess 12-2 ain’t good? When did I say 12-2 isn't good or that it's bad? Compared to the national championship and Heisman hype I would say they were overrated. preseason.stassen.com/over-under/all-teams.htmlDon't let facts get in the way. They won 3 Rose Bowls and played for 2 national championships in the last 10 years, with a 13 win season, FOUR 12 win seasons, and an 11 win season. Oh to be so overrated.

Just saying zI am not optimistic. I hope for 6 wins. Our recruiting each Year is not near the top in PAC 12 North. New QB so likely not as efficient. I think with the outbreak we will be hard pressed and not profitable. Attendance may be half or less. Wont argue with your opinion or lack of enthusiasm. But I think 3 or 4 other north teams are breaking in new QBs too, and won't every school have to deal with half empty stadiums? As for recruiting are you factoring in transfers? My enthusiasm stems from just watching the growth from year one to year two under Smith. It was a marked improvement on both sides of the ball. Oregon State was one play from making a bowl game last year. Depth is vastly improved. There are playmakers on both sides of the ball. Our coaching staff is solid across the board. We have one of the best defenders in the conference, one of the best LB corps in the conference. one of the best RBs in the conference, a stable of good young receivers, and we also get back a few impact guys who didnt play last year. Man I'm getting jacked just thinking about it! Go Beavs! They were also one play away from going 4-8. And another from going 3-9. See how that works?

He began with "My enthusiasm" before explaining why he was excited for Beaver Football. Said nothing about what YOU should feel. If you feel negative about Beaver Football, good on you. See how that works?

If there are still haters around that get their rocks off seeing the Beavs fail or fall short of expectations, whatever. Let them root for the Beavs to lose or diminish what they accomplished last year. I'm too old for that s%#t, and seriously, what is there not to like about JS and the kids on this team? I havent been this stoked for Beaver football in like a decade. It feels sorta 1999 ish. Anderpanties had me close before the McMaryion debacle, but looking back should probably appreciate everything he did, good and bad, to get us here! Gdamn Corona go the F away.

I watched the '98 and 2000 Civil Wars on Saturday. It was awesome! It was a one hour edited show on the P12 with coaches and players comments. So exciting. Ken Simonton has to be the most underrated back ever. He was terrific! Seeing Coach Smith and all the great players made me want to have a winning team again even more. Go Beavers!
