Just watched the game on YouTube ( I was there in person ) And after watching the controversial onside kick by Wisky , Im not sure they touched it early. Anyone else ever had doubts ?

If not for the bogus holding call on Isaac that wiped out a first down on the possession before Wisconsin scored, they might not have ever got the ball back. Of they would have burned up their remaining TOs and the clock would have bled down to almost nothing.
Big Ten crew. So even if it wasn't touched, it just evened things out.

I saw that fame too. Wisconsin fires their offensive line Coach after that game. We came close to blowing it. The penalty I do not know if it was bogus or not. I do not know if they touched ball or not. Was glad we got the Ball.

That was a bogus call and not one made by a Pac 12 crew . Surprised

That pass interference on D.J. Alexander (Welch, at the time) to start Wisconsin's TD drive was bogus IMO. It was a Big Ten crew, but, if I remember right, the Pac-12 was in charge of reviews. Terrible call, if you ask me, but it was the last of several really bad calls during the game.

If it wasn't for those headhunters up in Seattle, we'd have moved into the top 5 at 7-0. Sitting in the Hawks Nest watching that stupid game was so frustrating.

I almost got into a fight in the stands ove that hit and non-call. The hit was text book targeting, but the officials seemed to be confused because it happened the opposite direction you normally expect it to. I have not seen much worse negligence by an officiating crew in protecting players than that hit on Wheaton. It was obvious targeting based on the rules. Then Wheaton was clearly concussed, you think maybe you look to see if there was something you missed? It was disgusting. The rules were supposed to protect in that situation and the officials made no attempt.

The Wisky game:
1) As Wilky' pointed out above, the PI on Welch was absolutely bogus...
2) And, no question, The Wisky kicker himself touched the ball and knocked it backward-- but after it had traveled only 9 yards....no the the required 10.
________________________
And speaking of illegal hits over the year that have hurt the Beavs.....how about the cheap shot by the Arizona DB on James Rodgers AFTER JRod was in the end zone--wrecked his knee and effectively ended James Rodgers career. Before that play, the Beav offense seemed almost unstoppable. Never the same afterward.

Ball carriers get hit, first contact, a couple yards deep in the endzone all the time.

I don't see how that play could be criticized. Players are coached to play through the tackles, looked to me like he wasn't trying to cause harm. You've got people traveling roughly 25-30 feet a second having to change their mind and react in an instant, that decision would have had to been made at the 4 or 5 yard line...at which point there'd be people saying the kid just gave up. Some people are acting like the defender was a pro wrestler and James was Andy Kauffman.
We see kids getting tackled a couple yards deep in the endzone all the time. Even James has said it was a clean hit and the kid was just playing through the tackle. It was unfortunate, not dirty.

The split second that ball passes the plane of the goal line (in full possession) it's a TD and dead ball. They were already past it and it wasn't a full-speed band-bang play, whatsoever. It was a cheap shot play and nothing less than that. You really think the guy wasn't going full out, caught James and decided to hurt him? I just don't see it.

It was a cheap shot play and nothing less than that. It wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen but it was a little bit of a cheap shot. James pulled up and was coasting because he already crossed the goalline. I don't think you can say it was intentional to injure James, and typically the response would be for the scoring player to be a little irritated and do some kind of "get OFF me" gesture if it was a clean tackle instead of that awkward one. If I'm being intellectually honest, the only reason that I'm truly mad is because James was never quite the same after that.
