pendletonbeaver, RIP, 16 November 2020. they deleted their account of their own accord It's beyond me why anyone would go through all the crap posting during non-sports, make it to the actual Beaver football season, and then pull the pin. Nuts! I don't think he really cared about OSU. I'm trying to remember but I think he said something like he had moved to Oregon and picked the Beavs over the ducks in whom to root for. The real passion was maga, alanon and things like that.

Yeah, Al-anon meetings are for people trying to improve themselves.

You killed my favorite guy to get riled up. Agree with your comment about him though. In the protest thread, where he was talking about MLK, and I posted some stuff about how MLK after he tried to evoke MLK. The thread got locked immediately after I posted that... baseba1111/scuba literally couldn't handle not getting in the last word and DM'd me like 3-4 extra points, just so he could have the final word. I felt it was real sad, just absolutely couldn't leave it alone. That was the think with that guy. he literally could not bare not having the final say on anything. doesn't matter what the conversation was, how important it was, or how objectively and provably wrong he was... he just couldn't leave anything alone. ever. he almost always responded to every comment. every post, always. Just had this pathological need to be king of his domain or whatever. kind of a weird dude. lol. It wasn't that he had to have the last word, it was that he was pathologically incapable of admitting a mistake or that he was wrong about ANYTHING. What kind of person would fight to the death to assert that what John Olerud wore in the field was NOT a batting helmet? Could you imagine having to coach with that guy?!?!?!

I do know some people who have almost a split personality; they’ll say things on a message board with a degree of anonymity that they would NEVER say to someone in person.

Unless they use their real name to post stuff. Can't imagine who would be so silly though!

I'm open to letting people back in, if they want, and can promise not to be an asshole. Serious question. Everyone has their moments , especially after a bad loss. Is there a difference between a ass hole and a butt hole because I think 90 percent of us have had our butthole moments at one time or anther. No one is a saint.
Btw, Who is our most model poster. Most admired by the group?

It's hard to beat Mike84's optimism.........we could all be a little more positive like him.
