In these times. If he won't go, just drop the program. Volleyball is a required program for Pac-12 membership.

I noticed that long time associate head WVB coach Ron Zwerver is no longer listed on the coaching staff. Any connection to this controversy? WVB Coaching StaffNo longer listed or linked Ron ZwerverThe OSU volleyball games that I saw Ron seemed to be the guy doing most of the coaching and talking in the timeouts. I will concede that it is a small sample set.

I think there were two or three posts on this board that seem to call for immediate dismissal. I don’t know whether that qualifies as rush to judgment.

Excellent article and someone actually did an old-style, true journalistic approach. Coach now has my support, but he still needs to win.

OSU has an obligation to be sure that those who brought the complaint are heard. Many times women who have spoken out are dismissed as emotional, carrying a grudge, or unstable. If he has been cleared, OSU must address the women who said they were offended and offer counseling or other support. This will be be easy. For these women, it is not over.

There were 4 posters who wanted him gone immediately - billsaab, beaversrock, irimi, and sparty.I would certainly characterize it as a rush to judgment.

Two last place finishes in conference in a row should get any coach fired. Stand by my post. Should still be fired. All my judgement was results on the court. Complaint by players just made things worse

Correction: I meant to say that helping these women will not be easy. May I add, that if one person accused him, it may be dismissed by investigators. IF several brought charges, investigators should be looking at the "weight" of the evidence.

This is very difficult. Because we have conflicting reports. I tend to believe those punished. Being lousy at Volleyball should be unacceptable. My concern is for the players and the culture. I remember watching Lavonda Teams practice and Her comments to us. The Volleyball is different because not being nearby I haven’t watched except matches on PAC 12 network. I feel his recruiting and winning will be very difficult. If the Oregonian article is factual than we have mishandled it period. In that case I would expect their Heads to roll. If the Corvallis article is true than I would expect The Coach gone because of record. I only wonder if Kerry Eggers were around and not retired we would know the truth. No matter what it will hurt our program which is sad. They

My opinion is heavily weighted on his win /loss record. Don't get me started about the softball coach. So yes, send both of them packing asap based on win loss records in the conference alone.

The softball program has been to the NCAA tournament four of the past five seasons (excluding 2020). The year they didn't make it they were six games over .500. And you would fire her? Tough crowd.
Even Kirk Walker's teams seldom finished above .500 in conference in the program's glory years.
If conference wins/losses were your sole measuring stick, Pat Casey would have been toast by 2000, Scott Rueck by 2009.
