If there is a severe thunderstorm with lighting going off on a regular basis are you soft if you decide not to play golf or a stud if you do? Judge Smails ought to be able to weigh in on this. How did that work out for Bishop Pickering?

Even though our DBs frequently maintain social distancing, football is a body contact, fluid exchange sport. Definitely not Covid safe. Sports should not be life and death.

What will you say when the Big 12, ACC, and SEC all make similar decisions a few weeks from now? I think the betting line on the before or after is September 18 Put me down for fifty on Before.

I can’t tell if this was a parody or not. It would be a GREAT example of mimicking an absolutely immature, “I’m a tough cowboy” moron, who’s butt hurt about not being entertained by the football team this fall. Life’s about other things

Wow, non of this can be answered without answering politically which we cannot do. So we will answer in this way. If there is a chance to die in a plane crash are you a stud to never go to Hawaii or a stud if you do? You analogy fails on multiple levels. But keep trying.

If we ever needed a sign of how utterly soft our conference is, this week has shown it. While the Big 12, SEC and ACC are attempting to continue on and schedule a season the Pac 12 folded like a cheap tent at the first sign of adversity. Adversity, what you teach young players from the age of 8 years old that they must overcome, we collapsed under the weight of it. At least a few Universities and Coaches in the Big10 have complained or are even trying to go around the cancellation, but Pac 12 AD's, Presidents, and coaches have all rolled over to accept the inevitable, I mean if it is going to happen at least enjoy it right. Releasing pansy assed press releases about how they regret the cancellation but C'est la vie. P*ssies. P*ssies, and you can't win being P*ssies in this sport. I expect USC, Washington and others to flee this pansy conference at the first available opportunity. Soft as butter, and that's the way the conference has played the last 10 years. A culture of football failure that may never be overcome now. The p*ssies, to use your term, are the ones telling the kids to play, while they sit at home drinking a beer yelling at the TV.

Think of all the lives and trouble we could have saved by now if only we knew that there IS an antidote to Covid 19?!
Just don't be a p*ssy!
Brilliant

Either you're not a fan, and are stirring the pot for no reason other than to have fun. Or you're not the kind of fan we want/need, with your negativity and poor attitude. In either case feel free to stay or go. Just know you have made little impression here other than devalue yourself and/or any future opinion you may have. How very big of you to allow 55-7 the opportunity to stay or go and to decide what kind of fans we need.

The big 10 and pac12 follow Dr. Fauci's advice the other leagues follow the advice of some guy who says like magic it will be gone in a month or two. I will follow Dr. Fauci. Anthony Fauci January 21, 2020 newsmax interview quote “this is not a major threat to the people of the United States and this is not something that the citizens of the United States should be worried about”. Anthony should work at the house of pancakes.

It’s a bit harsh but there’s nothing wrong with that position. Much of it is true. Let’s don’t be the judge , jury and executioner nor speak for everyone “here”. That’s a bit elitist and condescending and these decisions were made for financial not safety reasons. They would be safer in the controlled environment of the football program then they will now.

Sooooo.... you're saying that the other leagues are taking advice from January when there was one confirmed case in the U.S. rather than advice from now when there are 5M cases? Doesn't seem like a smart move. By the way, the part you left out of what Fauci said on January 21 (when, again, there was ONE confirmed case in the U.S. and he probably thought that this would be dealt with in a science-based, intelligent way) was "“Obviously, you need to take it seriously and do the kind of things the (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the Department of Homeland Security is doing."
