So, not that it matters in the short term, but I am looking around at moving off of SlingTV because they are currently dark on NFL network and Redzone.
What is my issue? f%#*ing nobody else has Pac-12 network. That is my issue. I am stuck. I suppose it is no big deal, I can go grab up Youtube TV, pay month to month, and then just hop back to Pac-12 IF/When we play again... but that ain't the point. the point is it is APPPALING that Pac-12 network is still not on Direct TV after like 8 years. It is still no stand alone stream option.
SEC, BTN and others are everywhere else. Pac-12 ain't.
Good... Freaking...Lord.

DISH has Pac-12 and Pac-12 Oregon which is why I picked them over DIRECT.

It sounded great when they announced the Pac-12 network. Now I wish they would just nuke the whole thing and sign on with ESPN like the SEC and ACC have. Going it alone is clearly not working.
ESPN is basically the defacto mouthpiece of CFB. Why fight it? Better to be on the inner circle imo. If you can't beat 'em....

DISH has Pac-12 and Pac-12 Oregon which is why I picked them over DIRECT. Dish has the Pac-12 national feed. You have to stream the Pac-12 Oregon channel using your dish account user ID and password.

They are in a contract dispute, so unless it like, literally came back today, there is no NFL network and Redzone currently. I will have to look again I suppose, as we are getting closer to the season so it is possible they worked something out.

No NFL/No Redzone at the moment via Sling plus Youtube gets me the local networks which is nice (had to use HD antenna before). Figured I can always jump back if and when Beaver football is back in full swing on Pac-12 network (plus I can get caught up on their 3 different commercials). Don't love the user interface with Youtube TV so far, but probably because I'm old and change is hard. And yep, I now get ACC, Big Ten Network and SEC and I think CBS Sports which IIRC is Mtn West Conf? sigh.

You just hit start. cancel any time. I will likely just bounce back and forth if I have to. Youtube carries locals which is nice too. But end of the day, the lack of market presence of the Pac-12 network is my gripe. We need a major leadership overhaul up in here!

I don’t appreciate the recent price hike, because I don’t need half of the channels that they have. Time to go out an buy a good old antenna. Tired of paying so much for TV.

I bought mine on Amazon for like $50. I live in way south Salem and get all the Portland channels just fine with a strong signal. One bit of advice, make sure you have a clean R6 cable going straight into your tv/box/reciever whatever you are using. Don't have a line splitter or anything on it. It greatly reduces OTA signals. (literally splits it in half!)

Live in Lebanon - bought the best antenna on Amazon I could find, $100. Only get PBS, 12, 32, and 49. Still overpaying on Dish.

You should get these. nocable.org/availability-report/zip/97355-lebanon-or/Doesn’t look like a lot of great possibilities unfortunately. Fyi, I make my own antennas for myself and friends. Feedback is they work better than purchased ones. I use thin copper welding rod instead of coat hangers because, well, that’s just how I am. Good luck!
