May announce a reversal as soon as tomorrow that will allow them to begin play third week of Oct and cram a season in to be eligible for the playoffs.
Believe it when I see it, but there is real momentum.
Does the Pac remain the sole holdout?

So far at least 9 games have been postponed. There will be many more. I'm guessing that the postponed games won't actually be played.

I say let the other conferences be the guinnea pigs...They don't have major issues with spread of the virus, then consider playing..but if there are big spikes, be responsible and don't play I see that several hundred Alabama students broke protocol. The "bubble" doesn't work with parties even if athletes are "bubbled". Can't stop brain dead. And this was this week. Not the original "brain dead".

Serious question: how can you have a league champ when it's likely teams in a league won't be playing the same amount of games due to postponements/cancellations?

Not the original "brain dead". yeah and watching the FSU GATech game...shots of fans, sitting in groups no masks...P12 will be proven correct in short order.... Saw a video the other day of a police officer going to a college party. He talked to the college kid that lived at the house. The kid was covid positive. He said he was quarantining as required. The officer told him you can't be in quarantine and have s house full of partiers. This is happening on every campus. I can't see how it can't spread among the athletes.

The left coast is left in the dust as it always is. May as well sit it out they can’t compete anyways

What is your real concern if not their health.

It helps that they are smart enough and man enough to play the game.

How about everybody's health? Student/Athlete or just Student they are part of the same university's population. So, a bunch of dumb guys having a party KNOWING they have Covid positive attendees will mean the spread of the virus to athletes. other students, faculty, etc. is much more likely....BTW where were the girls at the party? Probably too smart to show up in the first place! Kids are going to be dumb..whether at school, home, quarantined or not quarantined. How would playing football make that worse? You deal with two things, let the kids compete and avail themselves of the best available training and medical attention/testing and you work on the balance of the students separately. Saying that shutting down football will alleviate problems doesn't make any sense

Struggled early, but always good to get a win against a Power 4 team in the opener
