We played one great game at USC...and they are down right now. Under Smith we have progressed from terrible to bad to where we are now: mediocre. I will be surprised if we don't get 6 wins. However, anything over 7 will also be a surprise and a huge overachievement. Are we making progress? Yes. Now about 3rd and long... How about this? The Beavers entered the day all by themselves on top of the North Division and will conclude the day all by themselves on top of the North Division. The Beavers still control their own destiny. Just keep winning. Less margin for error now, but come back off the bye and win the next six, the Beavers are still the Champions of the North. Also, 2021 is reminding me a lot of 2006. 1. Lost a road nonconference game by multiple scores. 2. Beat Hawai'i. 3. Shutout Idaho. 4. Beat USC. 5. Beat Washington. 6. Lost to Washington State by a touchdown.

And Canzano almost takes joy in the whole thing. the dude is weird. And I mean weird how one week he builds the team up and then go to his bad habits driving the school bus running over them. This comment is particular rank coming from Canzano: "The whole act looked suspiciously like the dead and buried 2019 and 2020 versions of Smith’s program. Those teams routinely went on the road and proved they were good enough to stay in games, but not regularly win them. Just like old times." I mean he's not wrong though. This shouldve been a stepping stone game for us if we are truly taking the next step. And it's not even that we lost as much as it felt like we got outcoached and outplayed in the 2nd half.....you could feel the momentum shift

We’d have scored before that play had he hit a wide open Baylor in the check down.

Go back and watch it....it wasn't horribly behind him, but it was high, and on his back shoulder. That ball needs to be in front of him, and lower The DB contact resulted in a tipped ball....should he have caught it? Yea, maybe, but a better placed ball he likely does. Nope. You throw that ball high where your taller receiver can catch it. That pass was right on the money Whatever man.....he leads him between the numbers it's likely a reception

Everyone take a step back and realize we’re at a 4-2 start to the season after 6 games. Two weeks to restart and get ready for Utah. OSU still has 6 games left to play and I think they will win more than they lose

I think th O Line had an off day - except for the run game ! Yea, except for 309 yards rushing, they were awful. You are so simple .... strong blocking for the run ( obvious to anyone), poor pass blocking - Nolan had zero time ... we became one dimensional ( sort of like you ) .....

What's with the (You are so simple and sort of like you) comments?.. was that really necessary?.. Seriously? We are all OSU fans and want them to win every game.. why make comments to each other like that?

Yes, we simply gained 309 yards on the ground. What a s%#tty offensive line. Offense wasn’t the issue.

Those standings wont change since all North Division games done for the day

His job is to build the hype for the winners and rub it in the faces of the losers. Which is why we hate him. Obviously, he has better insight than that to offer, but like so much of the sportswriter/sports talk show host profession, he is just aiming to provoke an emotional response. And he's great at that. But what a thing to be great at.

But if you have to give him clicks, don’t post about it here. We all know his schtick.

It was a momentum shift......you could feel it...the turnovers took the wind out of our sails. And the WSU D made plays when they needed to. We lost the battle in the trenches. Even though we had a good night running the ball, we didn't do a great job in pass pro....their pass pro was outstanding and/ or we need help on the D line....LB and DB we are good

You’re the one that thought you had to explain north-south running to a football board audience. People were nice then. Maybe do the same?
