About half of the construction trailers have been removed from the west side of the west grandstand project. You can really see it now.

The only capacity I have found listed for the new stadium was in an old Olive article and it was a quote from Barnes stating something to the effect it would between 34 and 39k when completed. Well that seems like a rather wild range to guess about and how is a much more approximate number not known going in? Maybe this has been asked and answered already somewhere in this massively long thread, if not, does anyone know of a more concrete seating capacity number after the new side is completed? Based on the drawings, the new West Side holds 8,890 (+/- a couple hundred and not counting standing room only). Lower Field Level = 2,917 seats Mid Loge Level = 674 Upper Deck = 5,299 (Unofficial numbers per the plans, before construction) Add that to the listed capacity last season of 26,407. Although there were games with over 28k, including the Civil War attendance of 28,840. So if you can fit 2k+ over capacity into the rest of the stadium maybe you can add 1k over capacity on the West side, making the range of capacity 35k to 38k? Minimum with last year's listed capacity and the planned capacity of the new West side = 35,297. I would think it could hold 37,000 fairly comfortably. Although keep in mind they also have plans to remove 884 seats from the current East side Club Level to give them table tops and replace with 248 chairs. Net loss of 636 seats on the East side. Not sure that gets done for 2023 season or not.

They will have the seats, rail tables, etc. (think like Banners) They will have vendors and beer garden there. The Athletic Dept. makes a lot on their take from the vendors. This could be part of the standing room only numbers.

On a side note, I love how at the game at Goss last Friday, I asked for a hot chocolate, which was on the menu, and the response was "we stopped serving hot beverages this late in the season". Really? Then why have it on the menu! Sorry, I digress. Back to seating capacity at Reser!

I believe their installing the new LED lights on the east side overhang roof.
Dunno what they’re doing on the underneath of the west side overhang roof.

For smaller babies, they use a stork; larger babies require a crane.

The MU webcam is active again after being offline for many months while the roof at Milam Hall was being repaired. Looks like a busy day in the quad. webcam.oregonstate.edu/mu

Yup, new LEDS on the old side to match the new side. A foreman for Hoffman told me there will be zero shadows on the field.

Walked by there this AM. The backside is almost completely done, you can really see it now because almost all the construction trailers are gone. They've done some grinding for the new asphalt in the parking lot and curb and gutters are in behind the press box.
They are really getting close.
