Why would he want to go to a Big-12 school? Isn’t he from Texas? Hope Martinez don’t go back to Texas.

Why would he want to go to a Big-12 school? Isn’t he from Texas? Hope Martinez don’t go back to Texas. He's from St Louis. From what I can see, this is a step up as he'll be an asst HC. He's been a RB coach only his past few stops. Good for him. JS has shown the ability to hire good assistants so I'm not worried, especially with the RB group present.

Baylor already had a frosh running back run for 1000 yards last year. I'm sure coach Smith has a list of potential replacements. Osu is in a nice spot after a historic season.

that's life when you have success....Prefer that to nobody being interested in our players/coaches Yep, sucks to lose coaches, but in the grand scheme of things it is a positive. Teams don’t normally hire away and give promotions to coaches from bad teams.

Good for him! RB coach to assistant head coach is awesome.
It's important that our coaches make positive vertical moves when they leave. That sweetens the deal for new coaches.

It’s a better term than what Baylor players were up to for several years.
