For any fans of the series Spartacus on Starz you'll remember when Ashor offered a handful of mercenary's land and money when he came into his promised reward from his Praetor Glaber until Ashor was bamboozled by Lucretia and Ilithea. They told a lie that would make Glaber resent Ashor and upon confronting him ( Ashor's mercenary's with knives out) offerred the mercenary's far more land and money and they turned their knives on Ashor.  I forgot that, but remember Viva Bianca's boobs. |

Didnt he grow up a ducks fan? This kid went to Central Catholic High School, and anyone who knows Portland High Schools, knows this is a duck infested football program, led by one intolerable quack, Anthony Newman. My bet is he was always gonna be a duck, just had to wait until his bag became available. See ya! You couldn't be more wrong in a variety of ways with 1 post. Let's start with the # of kids from CC that have gone to OSU. Oladapo, Grant, Brandel, Nall...This year Foster.(I picked the most recent off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more) Newman hasn't coached at CC for at least 2 years. He is at West Linn now. "Anyone who knows, knows" huh. Which I think is funny because (to bring this back on topic) didn't the kicker from West Linn football sign his LOI to uo? I think I heard he was an early graduate and will be in Eugene next month. |

That, to me, was the big wild card with him and his decision. The one scenario I can completely understand is if Hayes was on scholarship, and we weren't willing to burn 2 schollies on kickers, and there was no way we were going to pull Hayes' or anybody else's scholarship. Normally Atticus would wait his turn til Hayes left, but after proving himself before then, I don't fault him for going where he didn't have to pay his own way.
Once he's made that decision to leave, where he goes doesn't really matter to me. I would find it distasteful if Oregon found some NIL money to throw at him, but only distasteful from UO's end that they have so much available that they can spend some on a freaking kicker....if that's the case, it shows how big of a disparity there really is between the ducks and most other schools, sigh...

 Viva Bianca was in a movie set in my hometown and some of the scenes were filmed in the store of a high school friend of mine. He said she was a very nice lady. She did snow angels about four blocks from my childhood home. |

The only notable player from the CC to hole pipeline is Joey, meanwhile CC has produced Nall, Brandel, Oladapo and more. |
