Not all fans easily afford to be season ticket holders, or even take a family of 4 to a game, it's expensive. While several on here, you included, seem to say, if you're not attending or paying for season tickets you are NOT a fan, or bandwagon at best. these fans arew NOT going to be paying $$$$ to go watch a team get destroyed buy When some of them decide to not attend, it does not mean they left the team, it means that they have decided to save that money and perhaps use it on something that is more tangible, or important to the family. And for this they get speared on this board by the resident know it all's with the ultimatum of, you're not a true fan. Sounds like a comment directed more towards the likes of rgeorge followers. I am saying there MAY BE a huge drop off in attendance next year in general because the schedule does not create a sizzle so to speak. This is in regards to the occasional fans. I did not say to go out and buy season tickets or do anything extra next year. What I am saying is to stay the course in doing whatever you have been doing these past years and don't jump ship or change your normal mode of atendance. What I am curious about is what the average fan outside of these boards are thinking right now. There are the hard cores, the occasional followers and newbies. By definition the hard cores are on here. Where are the other seasonal fans at? Don't know yet. I guess we are going to find out. But, considering the success of the program the past few years, I am now paying a lot more for my tickets than I once did. With all of the changes this year, I plan on leveraging at renewal a better price, location, etc. Because, after all, isn't that what the university did to us long time season ticket holders when they set pricing for the new West Side? And then, after us season ticket holders were done choosing seats, they sold single tickets, or small packages for a fraction of what they wanted to charge us "hard cores"?

I can't wait for the NFL portal to open and watch as all the players opt out of the playoffs. Is this satire? Please name the players who are not injured who opted out of a playoff Game?

Yeah, it's a joke but one made with a point about where college football stands right now. It can't sustain this limbo between amateur and professional status.

I don't recall a threat. I recall a suggestion that an individual lives up to his commitment. FOR ONE YEAR! And if we are talking about respect... how about the players respect the rest of their teammates and not bail? There is plenty of time to enter the portal after the bowl game. These posts have big boy pants energy. it honestly makes me cringe. Anyways, I suppose technically... The transfer window is open 45 days after the championship selection day (this year, December 3rd). Players have until Jan. 17th. Yes, all the bowls are over, but if you haven't noticed the major wheeling and dealing has already happened. You being a coach that demands all players wait until after the bowl game is demanding they put themselves at a competitive disadvantage in the market. prior to us playing a bowl game we landed two transfer QBs, two offensive lineman, a running back and a safety. All before our bowl game. So you are saying you want to demand none of our players can announce and leave until after the bowl, so when they finally do, everybody that is worth getting has been gotten and our guys have no real opportunity? You realize how profoundly stupid that sounds right? The fix we need isn't coaches being unreasonable dickheads relative to the market and the norm. the fix is the NCAA moving the transfer window until after the bowl games, which seems so stupidly simple it actually isn't a surprise the NCAA f%#*ed it up.

I agree with your post, but the window is not 45 days. It was reduced to 30 days this year.
