I’m glad that out of all the information presented there that you picked that to post about. I read that as beer for my whores. I thought it was super patriotic. Whores are people too!

"Beer For My Horses" is a patriotic song? I’m glad that out of all the information presented there that you picked that to post about. It was a great post. Probably your best post ever. Honestly, I thought that you put together a great post there. I was just curious why that last part is in the Wikipedia article and then why you included it in your post.

Congrats! I quit chewing and smoking on Jan. 1, 1980; had smoked off and on for about eight years and chewed occasionally for four. Best decision I ever made. My grandfather chewed. When I was 8 I asked him what that was and if I could try it too. He hacked of a piece and handed it to me. 20 minutes later I was puking my guts out. Funny, never had an interest in that stuff again.

More on Toby Keith from Wiki. In 2004, Keith called himself "a conservative Democrat who is . . . . . . Is it possible his politics were simply aligned with whatever he thought would sell the most records? I do agree he cared deeply for active duty troops. A 21st-century country singing Bob Hope.

Because many readers won't read through an overly long post, so I wanted to highlight the part that pertained directly to the false insinuation that was made about Keith's political orientation.

Never thought of it that way, but very valid perspective.
