How about you quote her accurately?
She said ""Staying with it when she could've transferred and believing in what Scott has built here is incredible. We would not be here withOUT Talia."

The better team won. ‘Cocks have like 4 G/F that were long and skilled. They kind of all blended together to me, but their interchangeable depth there was one of the big differences today. Especially on their defensive end. Not that impressed with their bigs. Not looking at the stats yet but we gave up too many O boards. I agree expect for the big Watkins. That lady was a beast. I can't believe she doesn't start. Their bigs weren't huge offensive threats, but man they could play D.

In 2016 Final 4 were on the same side as #1 UConn. 2024 we’re on the same side as #1 So. Carolina. Not fair!

They were right there for making the final four. This is the first time OSU has not ended the deep tournament in a blowout against a top seed tournament (I guess we'll see if this indeed is the best team). Even though the 2016 team made the final four, this feels like the team that was the closest team to a title Rueck has had, mainly because there's not a team like the 2016 UConn team (an experienced team loaded with future WNBA stars) in the tournament. Next year's team might be the team that is closest to a title.

Dawn Staley gave OSU WBB Team many compliments today. And she singled out Donovyn Hunter. Coach Staley stated that OSU WBB's future is very bright, and felt that OSU WBB will get over the hump (Final 4). Contrast her to coach Rueck who was literally calling out the media for doing a disservice to OSU. TvO and Raegan wouldn't talk about next season and would not be baited into discussions about who will stay or leave the program. I believe they agreed before the post game presser that they wouldn't feed the rumor mill. I can only believe that the core group is not going anywhere.

And, these and others tend to also attract the best from the portal! Tourneys take weird turns. Even though they lost today Duke's men are the perfect example. As a 4 seed they beat a 13. Due to an upset face a 12 seed next instead of a 5. Win and have to face the 1 seed. Houston up 6 loses their best player and their offensive identity. Duke moves on and due to another set if upsets faces an 11 seed in the E8. Just never know no matter the roster and talent level.

Whatever the case, this team can be scary good next season.

No time to pick out one player If she (or, really, all the other players on the team) did not play as well as she did all season, there would be no Elite 8 game for the Beavs.

Was our win yesterday the first against ND? I think we are 1 - 5 vs the Golden domers. So now the team we need to beat is South Carolina. Yes, this loss stings but the parts are here to beat SC.

I think you somehow got stuck in yesterday, my friend. Although, you may be on to something - even though I know that's not how it works, would love to go back and have another crack at SC.
