Frustrating game to dominate in the first half and then get boat-raced in the second, especially that 3rd quarter. I still don't understand how the prayer that Falk threw up in the end zone was allowed to be caught when we had 3 DB's right there. THREE!! That one TD could be considered the difference between winning and losing tonight. Super frustrating game to watch. Much closer game than I though it would be, though. I thought my Beavs would get housed.
Go Beavs!

we had our chances...willy should be benched Tired off watching this team be stupid, coaching is the problem, not the solution. there are going to be LOTS of empty seats from now on, no one will pay to watch this team getting run over time after time. Bottom dwellers once again, most of us won't live long enough to see this team win more that 2 or 3 games a year again. Frustration levels are at a new high.

I missed your posts breaking down the difficulties in the first half. Did you see anything there? If the games aren't fun anymore for you perhaps you may think about doing yardwork. Or knitting

I agree that we have some issues with play calling IMHO and I think Andersen feels the same way. however, I really think things are more optimistic now than it was just before we found out that Rileys lifetime contract wouldn't have to be bought out after all!! we will still win a couple other games this year IMHO and hopefully off season we see some dead weight cut loose and offensive mind hired

Funny, I thought we actually played pretty well. In the end just another case of being worn down by a better team(albeit not as much as last year). But we'll get there.

The Pirate's second half adjustments were largely on point. CGA finished with a bad challenge call and mishandled timeouts to end the game. Oregon State's defense matches up well against Wazzu's offense (inasmuch as any team matches up well against Wazzu's offense). Curious how Oregon State's defense will match up against Stanford's offense. This team is different with a QB that can throw and a more healthy Nall (who still does not look 100%).

And if I start doing yardwork or other things (don't knit), that means I wouldn't be making my contribution and buying 4 seats. Going to games since about '75 or '76 for entertainment. If the entertainment is no longer entertaining, why would I keep paying for it. Also, I'm for sure not the only person in section 12 that feels this way. The Athletic department's objective is to increase income, not decrease the income. If the attendance starts to average in the mid to low thirties - Bad News Bears or, Bad News Beavers. Another ten to fifteen year draught could be devastating for the entire Athletic Department. So, I don't think it's a good idea to encourage loyal fans to start staying away.

Anyone who thinks this loss is a reason to stop attending games needs to get their head checked. We went down to the wire with a team that came in 4-0 in conference and all feel as if we let a win slip through our fingers. We weren't even supposed to be in that position per the oddsmakers and experts. That's yet another team that will be ranked tomorrow. Coming into this game we had the 7th highest strength of schedule in the nation.

In the 3rd quarter he is all up in arms and calling out as unwatchable. However....he continues to watch. Rafer has been doing this for years I'm not encouraging him to stay away. He is away. Posting multiple times in the 3rd & 4th quarter he is highly likely at home already. If I'm not having an enjoyable time doing something why would I keep doing it? That's why I thought rafer might enjoy doing something else...like yardwork

Same dude who had the sky falling after we lost our March Madness game to VCU. Probably wanted Rueck fired after the women lost to UConn lol. Maybe Alabama football is more his speed.

Lol Rafer is cool. We all have our way of expressing ourselves when we see a terrible half of football.....especially when it's preceded by one of our best halves.

The last two series were pretty awful. Crowd is really dead, too. Play calling suspect right now. D, too. This game is probably over, can't watch anymore!! Are there any recruits there? D is terrible, !5 to 20 yards every play is hard to watch, pathetic display in the 2nd half, terrible execution and MM is NO PAC12 QB, even not close, can't complete a pass over 5 yards.. Those predicting 4 more wins are in a dream world. I guess it's time to order that supply of emergency rations and MREs, buy a couple of AR-15s, grab your go-bag, and hole up on your unknown parcel in the woods.
