This morning OPB ran a 4-5 minute interview with exactly one person: Danny Moran (from Omaha); covering exactly one topic: Luke Heimlich. Though the interviewer began with "...not to dwell on this...", that's indeed what the 'report' consisted of. No information about redemption, or Luke doing everything 'right' was mentioned. No mention that the citing by Corvallis PD was inappropriate. No mention of any good works by Beaver teammates - instead just a bunch of 'facts' as Moran sees them and speculation about Luke's free agency prospects, Independent League opportunities or next season with OSU. This report ran approx. 4 hours before game time today (Friday), it DID acknowledge that if Beavs won they'd be in the finals.

Danny Moron should be ashamed - but like the rest of the snakes in the press - he is not. I sure hope he gets frozen out of OSU sports from the coaches/ players going forward. Or, LH waits until next season after his record is hopefully expunged, and the minute DM or JC bring it up - sue the pants off of them and the Oregonian for libel and violating his civil rights.

I hope the athletes and coaches refuse him access. Not saying I want cheerleaders for beat writers, but I sure want responsible journalists. Click-bait journalism has no place in college sports and the only way he will get off his sanctimonious high horse is if he pays a price for poor decision making and poor journalism.
In my mind he is only qualified to be the Portland youth soccer league beat reporter of he can hire on to the Baghdad Bulletin as a freelance d-bag.
