Parker and Wilson seem to be resigned that this will be a tough season. When MP says "when they scored the second TD it was game over" that is not a good. The guy is paid to be a cheerleader and he can't even put lipstick on the pig that is OSU football.

I guess the non-OSU media has been asking about halftime adjustments frequently.
Big Jim thinks it is more about the Jimmys and Joes getting worn out vice the X's and O's.
CGA; "We were disfunctional trying to throw the ball"

If you want doom and gloom, come here. It's not like they think we're 1 play away from a win, but they're not going starting saying "Oregon State sucks, fire Andersen." Get real.

CGA; "We were disfunctional trying to throw the ball" I like Big Jim but he's full of big crap! Garretson threw the ball and completed most of those 11 completions to RBs and they were on swings and he was going there the whole way! You could tell. That is not a game plan that's playing to not lose. Have fun?! Eff me!There was no progression! But the crime here is the defense! I cannot believe that there are so many basic and fundamental errors happening! It is a complete sign that the wheels are off and this could be the absolute worst season EVER here! Losing contain! Guys running free in the back end! DBs having to wheel vs a short post! Gimme a break! Worst team in the nation! Easily!! Go Beavs!

The Huskies came out in the second half and drove to the Oregon State 25, and the Beavers stopped them on three plays. Fourth and 10. Smitty, showing no respect for Oregon State's defense (because the chimps in charge do not deserve any respect) dials up a straight run to the edge. Coleman breaks off a 20-yarder. First-and-goal. That opened the floodgates. The next play was a touchdown, three-and-out, touchdown. 21-0. The teams traded turnovers, then three-and-out, touchdown, three-and-out, touchdown, fumble, and touchdown. 42-0. Washington outscored Oregon State 21-0 in the third quarter. 69-21 in the third quarter over the past five games. Oregon State puts itself into a 10-point hole on average each game to start the second half.

CGA; "We were disfunctional trying to throw the ball" Is that why Portland State outscored Oregon State in the third quarter? Dopey. California played USC tough for three quarters and then folded. Jimmy and Joes. Oregon State keeps it close for two quarters and comes out of the locker room. Then, they get blown out? Do all of the players customarily eat a half-rack of ribs and then down a gallon of malt liquor at halftime? It is flat-out terrible coaching. The other team makes halftime adjustments and makes Oregon State's players look like they are hungover and 50 pounds heavier (except the linemen, who each look 50 pounds lighter).

On second thought, it couldn't hurt.

It was clear the huskies would come out and throw the ball in the second half. They knew Pettis and the others would get open or get a PI call. One adjustment the beavs could have made was go to a nickel or dime on first down but they stayed in base D on every first down on that opening drive. Touchdown huskies. I understand picking your poison and stopping Gaskin was priority 1 in the first half. But when you have nothing to lose why not take a chance and try to get Browning to throw into double coverage?
