Yeah, I'm gonna pump the brakes on the noticeably stronger stuff. GA's guys increased bench presses by 5000%! Every coach says the same thing. I'm just excited for Beaver football to look and act like beaver football again. I mean, I heard rumors that Gary was worried the animations on the jumbotron during the games weren't "tough" enough and asked for grittier graphics. Just insanity. Ok I’m going to pump more breaks on GA “guys” increasing bench presses 5000%....lol. im willing to say maybe measurable benches increased  .... maybe. Ok.... and where did that get the football team . my guess is prior coaches emphasized football moves in their strength training..... when a coach is complaining about video graphic “ toughness “..... you know you’re in trouble.... lol So if they start showing our players dressed in lederhosen picking daisies and Coach Smith complains... |

There are people that would do that. Additionally, there are security concerns related to allowing someone in with what appears to be a bottle of water. Astrolite, for example, is a clear liquid explosive that pound-for-pound is twice as powerful as TNT and is used for commercial blasting. If the fans in Reser are safer with an outside beverage ban, that is a great thing in my book! Well, I did that with oranges in high school. Worked great! Used a cattle syringe. More bang for your buck! Great idea!! A game of catch over the fence on the first game in September!  Regarding safety, no matter how many things they eliminate, unless they have everyone strip naked and watch the game that way  , there is no way to guarantee safety. It just seems a little disingenuous when taking away a chilled bottle of water (or partially frozen), only to have the barkers on the midway wanting a fiver for bottled water - filtered city water, no less! |

Regarding safety, no matter how many things they eliminate, unless they have everyone strip naked and watch the game that way , there is no way to guarantee safety. ! This BS does NOT make us safer. It merely provides the illusion of increasing safety to those incapable of or unwilling to think. If someone is going to bring explosives into Reser it will not be in water bottles in a backpack. There are too many other ways to do it where it would never even be looked for. If you want to guarantee profits for vendors by outlawing competition, then say so. Don't cloak it in some "security" BS! JMHO |
