Gospel according to Saint Nick. Don't be afraid to make a change and stay out of your OC's way. BTW, think they might have a new kicker next year?

I still don't like the playoff and what it has done to the bowl system, and it just feels wrong to come home a full week after New Year to watch what is supposed to be the most important college football game of the year. But that was a great game. Back-and-forth. Highs and lows for both teams. Atmosphere in the stadium looked great, but it was right in the middle of UGA/SEC country with a home team and a 2nd SEC team - so that doesn't seem right either. But that was still a great game.
Edit: Full disclosure - that game won me my office bowl challenge (no money, just bragging rights, but still...)

I didn't get to see the game. What does 2:18 mean?

The freshman UGA QB started playing like a freshman late in the game. Bama freshman QB started playing like Joe Montana late in the game. Dude is a gamer. TSDTR "fans" are destroying Herlfrich on O-live for failing to reel the Mariota disciple in to his one time "dream school ". Much better game than I expected.

I didn't get to see the game. What does 2:18 mean? Patch on the jerseys intended to read "2018" had the "0" replaced by the CFP championship football logo, which was a different color. Especially the one on Bama's white jerseys, the light-colored football and black laces made a reasonable approximation of a colon : MSN link with pics

I was amazed that Alabama was abusing #14 on a regular basis and their defensive minded coach did not make any adjustments or replace him. It became a "go to" area available anytime the Alabama OC wanted it.

I know we're supposed to hate all things SEC, but I really do enjoy watching the d-linemen from both teams run sideline to sideline with the same speed as our LBs. Unreal.
Also a bit baffled that both teams were forced to use so many true and RS freshman. Weird.

I think if we had any who were that good, they would be starters at OSU too.

I guess because they've both had long seasons (injuries, attrition, fatigue) and that both teams recruit the cream of the high school crop and those young men can ball.

A truly outstanding college player isn't staying for four years anymore.
