How many winning season have the beavers football program had since 1958 to present day today?
In my lifetime from 1995 to present day today, the Beavers have 11 winning football seasons with a 7-16 record against the Yucks and went to 11 Bowl games. thats the stats ive gathered, which aint to bad for beaver football in my lifetime.

Put it this way, Mike Riley is responsible for 8 of the 17 bowl games in the last 80 years.

Bowl games actually used to be hard to get into. It's only been since about the year 2000 that just getting a winning record practically guaranteed you a bowl game. SaveSave

Lucky guy got to come in and ride DE's success, than blew the program up when he couldn't sustain RECRUITING, how to coach against the spread, dropped 8 in a row to the Ducks and quit 3 times! Riley for AD!! HIP HIP HORRAY!

Riley for AD!! HIP HIP HORRAY! Wow... That is so wrong. Mike Riley took a program that had been DOA for YEARS and made it competitive. In his second year they started 4-2 and were a 2 point conversion away from a winning record (2 heart breaking 1 point losses down the stretch). The 1998 Civil War double overtime win was EPIC. DE took that momentum and elevated it to the next level. Mike Riley turned around Oregon State football.

I don't know how many winning seasons since 1958 (random start year, by the way), but I do know this:
THE TOTAL NUMBER OF WINNING SEASONS HASN'T CHANGED SINCE MIKE RILEY LEFT FOR NEBRASKA.

Riley averaged 7 wins a season for 12 years, his successor managed a total of 7 wins in 3 years.

BTW... First year of OAC..OSU football was 1893... That makes 2018 the 125th year of Beaver football.... right?
4 years we didn't have teams so not the 125th season...

That and the 125th year of Beaver football would have been 2017. Plus you can quibble about when "Beaver" football began, if anyone was so inclined. 2018 will be Beaver football's 122nd season in the history of the school. November 11, 2018 will be Beaver football's quasquicentennial (fun word for 125th anniversary that basically markets itself). That is the day after the Stanford game. I believe the USC game is the closest home game to the quasquicentennial.
