Maybe the Pac isn't so bad after all.
Verse the MWC... "WAC"
P12 went 2-1
ACC went 1-1
SEC went 0-1
B10 went 0-1
B12 0-0
If you like good old fashioned college football games without all the hype and didn't see the Wyoming win over Missouri check it out. An exciting college football game and you can watch it in under 25 minutes

Maybe the Pac isn't so bad after all. Verse the MWC... "WAC" P12 went 2-1 ACC went 1-1 SEC went 0-1 B10 went 0-1 B12 0-0 If you like good old fashioned college football games without all the hype and didn't see the Wyoming win over Missouri check it out. An exciting college football game and you can watch it in under 25 minutes A couple of observasions from that condensed game... 1.) A good example of how coaching and attitude can be more important than "stars". Missouri clearly has more raw athletic talent, but Wyoming played well within themselves and schemes. Wyomig coaches stuck to their plans and had their kids in teh right places and eventually plan and scheme overcame raw talent (Wyoming was actually down 2 scores early) 2.) If Wyoming (You think Corvallis is hard to get to and "podunk"? Go check out Laramie, WY sometime can manage to cobble together a non-embarassing defense than SURELY we can. Again no one is asking for top 10, top 25, heck even top 50 in the nation defense.... I would take top 100! 3.) It's amazing what a couple of turnovers does for a team. The real turning point of this game was a scoop and score by the Wyoming defense. It took Missouri two full quarters to recover it's spirit and by then they were in a big hole. By my count Wyoming also had FOUR (inclduing the game winning turnover on downs) redzone take aways! Note that Missouri gashed them for tons of yards and scored 31 points, but the turnovers killed them. Hence my constant drum beat for, screw trying to win every defensive down, play aggresive, attack and make the goal disruption, confusion and turnovers. If the opposing offense scores on every possesion except for the three that we force a turnover (interception or fumble) on, then the offense has a fighting chance of outscoring them. If we are trying to play for punts, then I am afraid this defense will just not be successful.
