I watched the press conference trying to keep an ear out for an update on this QB situation.... What I heard was that Seth had 2 tests and "Aced" them. He also indicated he needed to meet with the doctors to have a better understanding of his timetable for healing. Last comment was he didn't expect him to practice this week. I didn't pick up any hint of disciplinary action. I don't doubt much of the speculation... for now Mitchell is the starter and seems to have a better grasp of the offense as well as having a calm factor that the other two QB's hadn't really shown.
I'd sure like to see our offense run the ball well against a banged up UCLA team that doesn't look so solid right now. Lets put some pressure on the other Freshman QB and see what happens.

I will agree with this, Nick seems to have a much better handling of the zone read itself. Gotta get those long balls dialed in and he could be very dangerous.

I believe that an injured senior player does not count against the travel player limit, whereas an underclassmen does - isn't that correct? That would explain Larry Scott travelling and not Seth Collins. Now you're just making up stuff. It'd be curious to know what the limitations exemptions are, if any. 85 scholarships plus walkons, by Pac 12 travel limits, only 70 get to travel to league away games. Lots of players get to stay home.
