Who decided on our punting depth chart and chose this year's starting punter, over the guy we saw in the bowl game?
Talk about addition by subtraction...our extremely mediocre punter (who I've been down on all season) leaving actually looks like an upgrade.
Is this why Cookus hasn't been officially retained yet?

He's a true freshman and we also weren't sure if he would be punting or kicking early on. Green was probably the better choice at the start of the season.

I'm far from an expert . . . but I thought yesterday's punter was a bit slow in the time between the ball is in his hands and the time the ball goes off his foot. That's asking for some blocks

That's asking for some blocks He punted at least two different ways for apparently no reason during the game. He should probably work on being great at one style. But Winsor looked great. It is too bad that Oregon State did not punt one more time in the first half. I would have loved to see Winsor one more time.
