Case Keenum to start this Saturday. I hope Mannion is putting in all he can with his reps. It will very likely be a wide open race next year.

Sean was inactive last week. Not sure why. Might have been sick. He has not gotten many practice reps this year and they clearly want to keep him under wraps. He's still #3. Hope he gets a good shot at winning the job next year.

Sometimes they hold out the third QB from the active roster just for numbers. It may not have been anything with Sean.

Most teams do this. you only have... 45? active spots from your 53 man roster. the 3rd QB is often in street clothes on the sidelines wearing a headset. Better to have numbers at another position. Heck a lot of teams sometimes don't even have a 3rd QB on the roster... This was the case for the Steelers. when Landry got hurt, Big Ben came back in, but those were the only two dressed QBs. Vick was inactive.

If he is good enough in the offseason and next camp/preseason it will be what it will be.
