Aren't the 4 who signed the best recruiting class in the programs history? As mentioned, yes. But, a long way to go to be the best class in a whole bunch of ways. The seniors set the bar pretty high as a class of young women and hoopsters. Let's hope they strive to reach and surpass that mark.

Here is one ranking I saw... not sure how old. But we're only 5th in Pac 12:
1 Maryland 2 Baylor 3 Texas 4 Florida State 5 Notre Dame 6 Louisville 7 Oregon 8 Ohio State 9 Stanford 10 Arizona State 11 USC 12 Michigan State 13 North Carolina 14 Connecticut 15 TCU 16 Oregon State 17 Vanderbilt 18 NC State 19 Dayton 20 Oklahoma

I say, just let Rueck keep winning and our class ranking will rise and rise and rise.
Go Beavs!

I mean, if you can't be #1 in recruiting after winning something like 120,000 straight games, what does it take? (Heavy sarcasm here). If the formula is the same as it is in football, a team that signs 6 3-stars could be "ranked" higher than one with 2 5-stars and 2 4-stars. The comparison is meaningless. I feel like Rueck filled his needs - other than another 6'6" shot-blocking machine to replace Ruth - very well with highly-touted players. You have to get talent, and all of the programs certainly did, but then it's about coaching them up. There aren't many coaches on the planet who can do a better job of that than Scott does!

I agree for the most part... but getting the type of "coachable" players SR has gotten is getting harder and harder... cuz they are fewer and farther between in this instant gratification world kids live in. The tough part is sustaining... getting to this point is way easier than staying there. That is what makes UConn's success incredible, but tougher to maintain in this day and age.
