After looking like a sieve on the first two drives, the D digs in and the O helps them out with strong drives and points.
14-6 at the half? Hell ya.
Same score after 3 quarters?
Let's go Beavs! You're doing us proud.

It's play like this (the last 3 quarters) that makes writing the check to Beaver Athletics, specifically football much easier for next year. I would drive 6 hours, sit in the stands and call the plays before they were executed and expect that if we were in a tight battle that Banker would put prevent D in and make me lose some time on my life and cause the drive home to be that much longer as we would find a way to bend and break more than not. There is no ah shucks with this staff, they call it like they see it, they have not backed down to anybody on the recruiting front and despite a less then stellar start and began to change the culture of Beaver football. Recruits are buying in, defense is buying in, and the offense has it's moments.
Has it been a long year, yep, is it going to be a long final stretch, yep. But all of these "young" guys playing now will benefit us for years to come. We had a lot of young guys especially on defense step up and make a lot of plays yesterday. This conference is typically dominated by Sr. quarterback lead teams, nothing different this year. Not only did we have a new system implemented but we have the youngest QB trio (save possibly uw) in the conference.
I like what I see and hear around the program and the way we are recruiting and the way the recruits are responding, there is a lot to be excited about moving forward!
GO BEAVS!
