I thoroughly enjoyed s%#t talking all the Husky fans at work over the last week, and will continue to do so. Keep you chins up Beavers. There's a lot more football to play this year.

That's it. We didn't deserve to win the game. We got taken behind the woodshed on D. We're not a as good as we all thought we were. Chance has lost his mojo and our D sucks ass. I think we'll get to a bowl game this season because there's enough other teams that aren't good but I don't think we're good enough to battle for the Pac-12 North. I have us with 2 maybe 3 more wins. I don't think we beat Utah, ASU, or UO. Maybe we beat Stanford, not sure about that one. We'll beat Cal and Colorado to get to 6 wins. Maybe we take one of those other games, either Utah or Stanford to get to 7 wins but I don't see more than 3 more wins on the schedule. Disappointing tonight that we abandoned the run in the end when there was still time. Chase can't win games for us right now, he's still got work to do. I don’t think you can say “behind the woodshed” anymore. #metoo

How in the hell did they beat USC and Washington ? We out played USC & UW in those games. Sometimes playing against superior athletes for 2 straight weeks, can make you look tired in game 3. I'm afraid that's what happened up in the Palouse today. What happened in the Palouse was a brain fart by the OC at the end of the game. Run the fn ball.

Sorry, IMO, until Smith hires himself a DC who can make a least semi-decent in-game adjustments and who can lift his defense from being the absolute worst 3rd down outfit in college football, we're going nowhere. Tibesar is clueless. And JS is plenty smart enough to realize that.

I'm afraid that's what happened up in the Palouse today. That's BS. We weren't "tired" to play this game. Stop with the excuses. We simply got out coached. The halftime adjustments and lack of them was the difference. SC pummeled this team. WSU lost to a bad Utah St team... allowed WSU 155 yds passing. OSU sucked. Can they steady the ship is the question.

Sucks to be you. The past week was amazing! I don’t know, honestly when I saw some people placing OSU at the top of the Pac-12 power rankings I thought that was a little silly.

DC will have to work harder for the rest of season to save his job. See too many 3rd and long went for first downs. That’s need to be fixed soon. Only 2 winnable games left against Cal and Colorado for 6 wins and bowl bound. Not sure if can beat Utah and Stanford now after tonight.
Disappointing game against weak WSU team.

Two weeks in a row our receivers can’t get open. Chance’s completions we’re usually really tight windows. Meanwhile WSU receivers often had a five yard halo upon receiving the ball. Hard to win with that delta.

What happened in the Palouse was a brain fart by the OC at the end of the game. Run the fn ball. That was just the conclusion of the 2nd half brain farts. They started with the fake punt and continued on next drive throwing a low % route on 1st down in red zone to put us behind the chains and forcing a 3rd down pass that was picked. Those calls gave the game away.

Cougs made the adjustments and plays we couldn’t. The truth hurts but we were badly outschemed and coached. We are making progress but have a long ways to go.
I will be at the UTAH game but it will likely be more than half empty! All momentum and excitement for our program is gone!

Werebeaver is a great poster. Good guy in my book and a realist. Not saying Werebeaver isn’t a good guy. Got nothing against him. But it sure was nice believing the hype for a week, rather than facing the reality that our defense is second-rate at best and the rest of the season is going to be more of a struggle than the first half. Hype is hype. The second half of the season awaits. That will determine what kind of team this is. I’m still optimistic and look forward to watching it. Glad we came out of this game with no major injuries (tho there was some talk about OL Levengood).

Until that changes, you'll have heartburn games like today. If Tibs has Dwan Edwards and Scott Crichton(in their prime) today. Do we lose?
