I don't remember what James Rodgers or Mike Haas were rated, but I believe that James was a 2 star, and Haas wasn't even recruited. Sometimes these services are a joke - anyone remember the amazing 4-star Cameron Colvin at hole? How did that rating play out?

The fact that his HUDL is from the 2014 season, not even 2015, let alone first few games of 2016 could play a part. Recruiting services can only rate based on what they see. Unless they happen to be in the area watching a teammate or opponent, they aren't going to bother digging deep on a guy who they didn't flag as special when he was 15. I can't blame them either. Perhaps he doesn't have the desire to self promote to too great an extent, or perhaps the guidance on how to self promote in the recruiting game isn't being given to him. Either way, great measurables and could be a really nice find for us.

But so far, this kid looks to be everything a program like ours is looking for. I for one am very excited to see the WRs of this class and Bradford's class(Bradford lol) when they are ready to take the field. I have a feeling OSU fans are going to see a whole different type of WR athlete than what they saw from Riley's classes.

Yep. These guys are going to make guys like Brandin Cooks, Marcus Wheaton, James Rodgers, Mike Hass (obviously not recruited by MR, but developed under MR) look like nobodies.

Well, I didn't say production did I? And did I say that Riley never had very good receivers? I just said that we are going to see a different kind of athlete. So far, TE Togai and Seth are quite different than any Riley receiver I've seen. Certainly not like the typical Riley receivers. Seth in his first ever few games at WR has already made catches that I have NEVER seen a Riley WR make. and W. Togai is not like your Riley TE. Appears more athletic.

You obviously did not watch Hass, Wheaton, Munoz, Bishop (maybe the group of most amazing catches... for a guy who would drop the easy one), and Sammy et al. close enough. You might be impressed with Seth's athletic ability, but he is no where near a WR yet. He11 watch closely... he rounds his routes, drifts, and has dropped more easy throws than the 1-2 great catches. There is way more to being a WR than speed or pure athleticism. Seth hasn't even begun to learn the position. I will not even go into the TE area... we've had several VERY good TE. "Athletic" or not they were not only great targets but could actually run block, which is a requirement even in this offense.
