Surprised this didn't garner more attention. The secondary has been a strength the past several years, including the last 2 with Perkins in there. Losing Blue was a big deal but somewhat blunted by retaining Perk. Now with both gone, definitely a lot of questions, including the imperative to hold onto Robinson and Julian. On the plus side, Heyward's background in the secondary as a player and coach will help, as will having the DC also serving as position coach. I'm sure he and Bray have some solid names they'll reach out to, but sure would be nice if the Beavs could catch a break somewhere.

You never know, KH may have someone else in mind and helped Perk find another job. A new DC wanting his own coaches would be pretty normal.

I mean, it is a bummer this close to spring ball, but I can't get worked up about an assistant getting an obvious promotion. This isn't a coach jumping to a rival or another school for a parallel job.
