They closed all the Shari's around Olympia a few months ago. Going to miss the pie.

Shari’s was never one of my favorite places, but I always appreciated how they cared about the appearance of the properties and everything was well maintained and manicured from the exterior at least. It’ll be odd to drive by those abandoned restaurants in the future and see them shaggy and untended. But no local restaurant chain lasts forever. I remember when VIPs was a big roadside chain. Izzy’s pizza had its day. Bob’s Hamburgers was a local institution of sorts. Not to mention the countless number of eateries that went away during Covid and never came back. There’ll always be new restaurants and drinking/dining establishments springing up and the good ones will make it, and the others will fall by the wayside. |

Damn ! One of the few places open in Corvallis after beavers football games. Always full of Beaver fans
