Oregon State's current strength of schedule:
Sagarin: 10 Colley: 4 Massey: 21 Anderson & Hester: 4
ESPN has a statistic that ranks each game based upon how well a team did based upon its competition. Oregon State's games this year:
1. California (79) 2. Washingon State (57) 3. Idaho State (51) 4. @minnesota (48) 5. @washington (37) 6. @colorado (32) 7. Utah (31) 8. Boise State (29)

We make the schedule so far in advance and base it on the team's performance at the time. We just have to factor it in.

The ranking is merely ordering those numbers in descending order.

They graded our performance vs Colorado almost identically to our performance against Utah?? I find these gradings suspect. The program rates Colorado the 13th best team in the country and probable South champion. According to the program, Utah is 36th and probable South runner up. The program also tends to focus a lot on where the game was played. Losing bad on the road to a 10-2 team looks better than losing at home to a 9-3 team.
