At least we won't be the only ones banged up when we go to Westwood.

That's a shame.
Hope he returns healthy for next year.

At least we won't be the only ones banged up when we go to Westwood. Too bad for that kid...unfortunately, his backup set some school records for passing a game or two ago! UCLA and USC are teams that are loaded with talent but they receive suspect teaching in those programs right now. Translated....you have to hope that their mediocre persona shows for their game with you. If they decide to put it together on a given Saturday, they can be formidable, even with injuries to key people!

Too bad for that kid...unfortunately, his backup set some school records for passing a game or two ago! UCLA and their backup QB are enigmas. The backup QB, Mike Fafaul, first came in for Rosen in the ASU game. He completed 27% of his passes for 0 TDs and 2 INTs. Things did not look good for UCLA with Rosen out. Then, 2 weeks later, against what had been a very good Utah defense, Fafaul completed 40 of 70 passes for 464 yards and 5 TDs! Then again, he also threw 4 INTs. Fafaul looks like he may be getting it figured out (although it would be nice if he keeps throwing INTs). I'm not sure we know with 100% certainty that Rosen is out for the year: (From an ESPN writer's twitter): "UCLA coach Jim Mora would not confirm multiple reports that indicate sophomore QB Josh Rosen will likely miss the rest of the season due to a shoulder injury. "I would put nothing past Josh with regards to what his future this year looks like," said Mora, who added there is no nerve damage to Rosen's shoulder." But I do think Fafaul is very likely the starter for this coming weekend at least.

Isn't UCLA's offensive play style similar to wazzu and cal? I ask it because of how much passing yards UCLA gets in recent games. It makes me think we can play UCLA as good as we played wazzu in the first half?
