I start out a general post by saying a bunch of general things that could happen to make us better (one of those saying that we need "average" play from a QB) and you respond with: "I've never said McM is our QB of the future"....! WTF is that?! That's not a statement taken personally? Ha, man, you're truly off your rocker! And if you believe that average QB play would not have gotten us past enough teams this entire season to eventually win 7 games (including the last two), well, that's your prerogative but I would disagree! With our running game and an average QB along with how the defense played (with inconsistent QB play and offense) I don't know how we don't win 7 games! Go Beavs! You're right you don't know! Yeah, nobody knows but you! Ha ha ha! Just ask you right?! You and your wikipedia pasted answers. Get real! Go Beavs!

Message board wars are the driving equivalent of screaming and flipping off the other guy because you almost had to tap your breaks when he merged back into YOUR lane.

The "bright spot" is next season when the cream starts to rise the top on this football team. There are some guys still playing right now (because of injuries) that should not be playing! The young OLB group will be really good! The young DL will develop and get better (as a unit) but the most important need is a consistent passer. With an "average" QB this season we are probably at least 7-5. That sucks that we are not there yet, but will be very soon! Go Beavs! I have to agree I see signs that Defensive ly this could be a good team next year. Unfortunately the offense is a shambles. I don't know what we are and the staff appears totally lost. So we will be at best a 3 win team in the PAC 12 if we have a s%#t offense again. But hey win our 3 powder puffs and maybe we get a bowl invite! Uh oh got that powerhouse Minnesota on there again I forgot. Well there is always 2018.

Must pick up the pace on Offense.

In defense of baseball1111 and the "I've never said..." comment, I took that as a manner of speech phrase, not a direct response to anyone. "I've never said icecream is my favorite desert, but right now it sure beats a cookie, but any kind of desert would do over the biscuits we've been getting". Have to know the audience and poster. He generally takes all my posts and twists them to make no point. "Comparing 1996 to this season"... "this is a 7 win team with an average QB"... are some of his best so far. But ya notice the author and just read with lots of "salt". Somewhere in the ethersphere Beavermobile is winding up to give baseba1111 a ****punch

Must pick up the pace on Offense. For "pace" to have ANY benefit to you on offense, you generally have to have some sort of idea of what you are doing. Pretty sure that what we are doing on offense isn't going to be helped by doing it faster. In fact, with our current lack of depth defensively, taking as much time as possible on offense is just what the doctor ordered.

But he backs up his posts with his reasons, and shows a lot of knowledge, although I don't always agree. His approach is a little rough too which unfortunately voids a lot of his good points to some here.
