Talent is relative - Georgia was never better than 3rd in the SEC in recruiting rankings going back five or six years that I could see. Implying the guy is a mediocre football coach because he only went to three BCS games in his 15 seasons because he couldn't get over on Les Miles and LSU or Alabama and Nick Saban or Florida and Urban Meyer every year seems a bit unfair, don't you think?

No, I don't. He was/will be a great recruiter/nice guy; however he was never anything but an above average head coach. Pretty good OC, so so HC. |

No, I don't. He was/will be a great recruiter/nice guy; however he was never anything but an above average head coach. Pretty good OC, so so HC. "Average" coaches don't win on average 10 games a year over a 15 year period and go to 3 BCS Bowls. He may not be great, but that certainly isn't average! |
