I have no doubt that we will sell out Gill for the CW. It is going to be a battle, our dreaded enemy from the south seems to be gaining strenght and playing some good Basketball.
I'm a little nervous about our long break and getting off to a slow start.
Go BEAVS!

I'm more nervous about: >we're not as athletic; >we're not as deep... we have many of the younger kids (and recovering injured) not really contributing much lately. ST REALLY needs a breakout game like Tres had to regain some swagger; >Tinkle's trademark more deliberate offense with fundamentally sound screens/back door cuts/movement without the ball with last year's over achievers seems to have been slow to develop or abandoned. We now seem to play 1-on-1 with a lot of dribbling and standing in the half court; >defense has been ok, but with all the newcomers the communication and help have been sporadic;
Last year we out "fundamentaled"/executed/frustrated the more talented teams. We are much deeper and more athletic than in the past, BUT we are in no way superior to most of the Pac12. The only way we are going to win 9 or more games is to get back to that same level of fundamentals/execution... versus ucks or anyone else... IMHO

IMHO OSU may not be "deep" but they have a lot more depth than last year, even with injuries.

"OSU may not be "deep" but they have a lot more depth than last year, even with injuries."
What does that mean?
I'm still trying to understand a Jack Nicholson quote, "I'm drowning here and you're describing the water."
