She is offended by Luke's success. Plain and simple.
As far as I'm concerned if Luke is a member of the team in good standing there is no reason why he shouldn't play in Omaha.
Period.

Good for her that she is getting some catharsis and sense of justice... I still think it was bad for, you know, the actual VICTIM, but mommy knows best right??

I agree this is coming from a sense of outrage and catharsis. and as a dad of two daughters. I get it. If this was my kids, I will say there is likely a chance we'd never have this conversation because Luke H. would not be with us... (as much as I am defending his ability to get on with his life). It changes scope when it is your family, your life. But when it is you, being rational and looking at the big picture doesn't always apply. It is easy to say as a third party that she is being self serving, and not acting in her kid's best interest, but we have to recognize she is likely hurt to. It sucks. the whole thing does.
