Good morning gents. Long-time lurker, first-time poster. ...including many years of pure-orange.net stalking. Proud OSU grad, 1999, mechanical engineering and Oregon native. Live in Chicago now (God help me!), work in finance. Will be in Omaha when our boys are one of the last two teams standing (knock on wood)....flight/hotel booked in March. Read this article first thing this morning and, true to form, Mr. Eggers does not disappoint! No relation, just thought a combination of the names of the two greatest Beavers of all time (apologies to Robin Reed) would make for a great handle.

Lousy situation and I'm convinced it was not accidental timing, and possibly violated the lawful privacy rights of all involved!! It was meant to destroy the team and University and has served to rally the troops. Thanks for posting something relevant and meaningful, which the initial reported failed, (purposeful?) to do. |

As we get farther from the sensational and very poorly written and obviously timed expose and the shock to everyone, the totality of the situation and real expertise and observation starts to have more and more weight, maybe Luke will be given the chance he has earned to live his life.
I hope that reporting like Kerry's opens the door to get Jake to Omaha, and beyond.
