We had the ball at the end of the game. Instead of dribbling the clock out, Tinkle should have instructed our most ferocious dunker on the court at the time, probably Eubanks, to throw down a two-handed, two-footed, tomahawk rim-rocker with 0.5 seconds left on the clock.
If you're going to reply with a comment on the virtues of sportsmanship, save it. It's the sh!tbirds. Eff 'em. There is no place for pleasantries in the Civil War.

We play them still in their house. No need to give them more motivation. I prefer the the "it's not personal, it's just business" approach, act like its no big deal and expected - that instills fear rather than desires of vengeance.

In the moment I was screaming for the dunk myself.... after sleeping on it.... I agree better to just let the score speak for itself.
The bigger question is..... which of the Beavers would have thrown down a dunk. The freshman are still learning about the CW rivalry. Would GP II have dunked?

A lot of these players are friends with each other. They aren't going to try and upstage the other team, even if it is the ucks.

Yeah, I was afraid we were going to throw it down there. I hate the ucks and all, but that is unsportsmanlike and I wouldn't have enjoyed it. Plus, it would give them too much added motivation for the next game at TTATT.

Agreed! No point in acting that way. If an 'uck player did that with the roles reversed, we'd rant for several days about the "classless 'ucks". I'd rather act like we EXPECTED to win that game (I honestly was 75% convinced that we were going to entering the game, even though I think that hole has a very dangerous team). I've actually evolved in my thinking about hole athletics anyway: As long as we finish ahead of them, I don't care what they do when we're not playing them for the most part. I never feel sad for them when they lose (especially in football), but for me it's more about us and I could care less about them.
