Rueck said that in finding a new offensive identity without Sydney they are having to ride their defense. I'm wondering if he understands that the team will never advance in any tournament unless they ride their defense? I found his comment interesting.

I think he was just stating the defense will have to carry the team until they find someone or a group of indivduals to make up for the scoring lost. He wasn't stating the defense didn't matter. Defense is a major emphasis of the coaching staff. Rueck knows what it takes.
