Look no further than Seth Collins being forced out of the QB spot because DG had "won the job" in scout team practice. Seeing that guy play in games, it is crazy to believe he beat anyone out. In unrelated news, 3M is currently ranked #16 in NCAA passer rating. Twist that knife, man, just keep twisting! Can we sue CGA as a fanbase for malpractice? Maybe, say, for the value remaining on his contract??? Settle out of court. He leaves, we drop the case. I like it.

Read the vagueness of the termination with cause portion of his contract. There are ways to at least instigate a negotiated buy out for less than full contract. 😁

At some point, if this situation gets too toxic, he may look to get bought-out for less than the full value, as well.

If every player on the roster had the start-me-or-I-transfer mentality we'd have 24 players; 11 on offense, 11 on D, kicker, punter. Would that be OK? There's only 1 starting QB. Only 1 starting FS. Only 1 starting SS.

Although sometimes players rationalize getting beat out as "I wasn't given a chance," "coach doesn't like me", etc. So after being told "you're not starting" you're OK with players transferring? You're OK with a roster of about 40 players?

They are quite likely telling every recruit they have a shot to start. When they tell someone here they won't get a chance, especially when they're one of the teams statistical leaders, it might as well be time to move on. It's all about how the coaches are treating players.

Just like I am not ok with the coach handing the starting role, or pre determining it based off of anything other than performance... The players know, and it shows

You're OK with a roster of about 40 players? It's their choice to. If someone who doesn't have much of a shot at the NFL wants to start and get a lot of playing time in college while he can, what's wrong with him transferring to do so? Especially since he was a Riley recruit, had already started multiple years, and was a good player. Andersen didn't like him and want him here, so he left. If you were at a job where you had a great boss who respected you, who then left and you absolutely hated your new boss, who also proceeds to demote you and another company wanted you and was willing to give you a raise while having a boss you liked, are you saying you wouldn't leave for the better job?
